We've been quiet for a while now! Our schedule is filling up now that we're on the "home stretch" part of our journey, but we're glad to have things to keep us busy. Unfortunately, I'm under quarantine for the second time this season with a cold, so I figured I would break the "awkward silence" on the blog and attempt to be productive, even from under the covers.
Some general updates:
- For those of you who don't get our newsletter, we will be returning to the States at the end of April. After visiting with friends and family in Virginia, we'll make the trek back to Ohio with a quick stop through Pennsylvania.
- As long as everything goes as planned, the baby will be born in Ohio. The due date is June 16th. And, in case you're wondering, we won't be announcing gender or name until after the baby's born.
- We've finally been able to connect with a language tutor here to get some more structure in our language learning. She has been so helpful!
- We continue to assist Lamar and Pat with things that they're involved in. This includes leading meetings and organizing a children's choir. For more, read our newsletter!
- Spring is on the way... finally! After our warm, sunny spell about a month ago, we had a cold snap. We went almost a whole month without direct sunlight, and we've had snow off and on. We're looking forward to the sunny days and warm temperatures that spring often brings.
