The window pane is completely frozen solid!
I know this doesn't compare to the SNOWPOCALYPSE I hear the US is experiencing, but I thought it was pretty cool.

So as some of you know, we only have one heated room in our house. Our kitchen, bathroom, etc. like to remain a pretty constant average of 40 degrees.

Your sister and I went outside yesterday after the snow stopped and the sun came out (which happened almost simultaneously). The yard and field has a layer of 1/2 to 1 inch thick smooth ice on it. She put a sled in the field to the west of the house and went all the way to the fence to the north--quickly! Today the sun is shining but because of the ice on the roads most schools have 2 hour delays--her school actually gave the students and parents the OPTION to go or not because of the roads! There was a rollover on the school's road so apparently it's bad!!
oooo...using the bathroom at your house must not be a very comforting experience...
