We had some really great weather last week, so the four of us Americans decided to go on a mini-adventure/picnic to a nearby mountain village. Joe and I can actually see the village from our house... it's barely visible on the mountain top during the day, but you can see the lights pretty well at night.
Say cheese!

We drove a ways past the village to do some exploring, and even had a picnic! The sunny weather made up for the cold breeze (although I'm sure you'll notice I had the hood up on my coat from the picture!)
A chilly mountain picnic
The picnic menu: PB&J sandwiches (thanks to Aunt Sue for the jelly!), chips, oranges, and chocolate chip cookies (thanks to Deb for the cookie mix!).... Yum!

What beautiful scenery....and no SNOW! The temps are in the 50's here in PA for a few days, and the snow is melting very quickly. We'll soon be seeing the Robin Red Breast! The first day of spring is only 31 days away!
