Actually, Ferdinand was the name of a bull, Sancho Panza was Don Quixote's human sidekick.
I think "Bloodnok, the Flatulent" would work well.
I LOVE it!! Is this a wild donkey? Here in PA I have many wild (and domesticated) animals passing through my backyard...but never a donkey!! So funny...
Suddenly the name Pepe came to mind, so I looked it up:
The boy's name Pepe \p(e)-pe\ is a variant of Jose (Spanish), Joseph (Hebrew) and Pedro (Spanish, Portuguese), and the meaning of Pepe is "Jehovah increases".
you could combine the two. Either Ferdinand Panza or Sancho-nand
