As you can see, Cleopatra is not the typical family pet. She does, however, diligently guard the front courtyard of our host home and patrols the flower beds. We met her the first day we were here and enjoy seeing her meander around.
We are still working hard on our Bulgarian. Today, Lela Nasia taught us how to write the Bulgarian alphabet. It is a lot harder than you would think to learn to write all over again!
It is very hot here, so we don't do a whole lot during the day. That being said, we have been studying the language amidst skyping with family and playing bananagrams. Apparently, it is a commercialized version of "take 2," which is played with scrabble tiles.
We found out today that Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, we will be going to some kind of couples seminar in the mountains. We are excited to have some cooler temperatures!
